FAQ's

What is the hire period?

Normally, the working day before your function to the working day after.

If your function is at a venue let us know if you need a Sunday collection.

How and when do we make payment?

We have several methods of payment. Cash, Debit card and Credit card are accepted upon receipt of goods (debit and credit card transactions can only be taken in person at our office). Bank transfer, 4 working days prior to collection or delivery. Cheque, 10 working days prior to collection or delivery.

Why can’t you take payments over the phone?

Due to bank charges to ensure fraud protection with this type of method we would have to pass the cost onto our customers. We do not want to do this so it is the only method of payment we do not offer.

What deposit is required?

Each hire is unique, you will be advised of your damage deposit when you place your order.

What does damage deposit mean and when does it get paid?

Your damage deposit covers damage or loss whilst you have the goods. It gets paid in cash upon receipt of goods. It is returned to you once we have checked the equipment back into stock.

If we are not going to see you when we deliver, arrangements for deposit payments can be made, please ask.

If we lose or break something do we lose our entire deposit?

No. We only take what we need to cover the cost of the item, the remainder is returned to you. If in the rare instance that a deposit does not cover the damage/loss then we will invoice you.

Do we have to collect the equipment or do you deliver?

It’s your choice. If you would like us to deliver please let us know upon placing your order so we can quote you. Our delivery costs include collection.

Do we have to return the equipment clean?

It’s your choice. If you would like to send the equipment back dirty a small charge of 9p per item will be charged.

Are your prices inclusive of vat?

No. Vat must be added to our prices.

Do you have Terms & Conditions?

Yes. Please see our website. You will also be given a copy of our terms along with your advice note and invoice.

Can we visit you?

Of course! We welcome visits at our office, all we ask is that you make an appointment first so we can dedicate a member of our team to you.
